Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. All invoices are in U.S. dollars and all payments must be made in U.S. dollars. 

Sales Tax in the United States and Canada

Sales tax as required by law will be added to each order.


International addresses, including Canada and Mexico, will incur additional shipping charges as applicable. You may also be subject to the customs fees, import duties, and local taxes of the country to which you have your packages shipped once the package arrives. All taxes, duties, and expenses related to importation and compliance with local import laws are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Stenograph  has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from acts, policies, or decisions of local governmental agencies concerning the importation of your order.

Stenograph will contact you via e-mail within three (3) business days of receiving your order to confirm your order and provide you with an quote of shipping charges. You will have one week to respond to either accept or decline the order. Charges to your credit card will not be posted until you confirm and accept your order. Once we have received your acceptance and shipped your order, we will make no refunds and accept no returns.

To comply with government regulations and/or vendor agreements, we reserve the right to refuse to export products from the United States at any time. Other restrictions may apply to international orders. Stenograph reserves the right to change its international shipping charges and policies at any time.

Stenograph’s Guarantee

Stenograph is confident that the products we offer are of the highest quality and that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase. Should a circumstance arise where an item does not fulfill Stenograph's written product descriptions, we will, at our discretion, replace or repair the item to meet our customary standards. 

Stenograph’s Return Policies

Items purchased directly from Stenograph and not through a distributor or leasing company, can be returned with pre-approval by Stenograph Customer Service, if they are in their original condition and returned within thirty days of receipt. A 15% (of retail price) processing fee will be deducted from your credit or refund on approved returns. A Return Authorization (RA) number must accompany any returns for proper credit to be given.Request a return authorization by contacting Customer Service.

Please note these important exceptions:
  • Due to their nature, the following product types cannot be returned for credit or refund: computer software, content on digital media such as CD, DVD, or tape, training courses, service and support agreements, custom-printed items and Stenograph writing machines.

  • Dictionary/data conversions cannot be returned.Training courses (including software programs, audio/video tapes and CDs) and CaseView may only be returned if they are in the original shrink-wrapped packaging.

  • Textbooks may be returned within one year of the original invoice date, provided they are the current version and in their original shrink-wrapped packaging.

  • Computer hardware and peripherals are subject to the original equipment manufacturer’s warranties.

  • Due to manufacturer's packaging on some items, once these items are opened, they cannot be repackaged, and therefore cannot be returned. These products are noted in their descriptions.

  • Products packaged in plastic clamshell containers cannot be returned if the plastic container has been cut or damaged.
