Reprogramming your security device for Case CATalyst version 13


IMPORTANT! BEFORE PROCEEDING!
If you are running Version 9, please make sure it has been updated to 9.07 or above. To check your current Case CATalyst version, open Case CATalyst, click on Help, then select About Case CATalyst.

Case CATalyst version 13 is compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. There is something new and exciting regarding how you'll receive Case CATalyst version 13! You'll be notified via email and through our social media as the general release date draws closer. 


Follow these simple steps to reprogram the security device for Case CATalyst version 13.
  
1. Attach the Case CATalyst security device to your computer.
• Open the Case CATalyst program.
• Go to the Manage Jobs screen.
 
2. Go to the Help Menu.
• Select Security Device Info.


 
3. After completing the previous step, a device information dialog box should be displayed.
• Click Reprogram Device.



• The Call-In# will display in the same box.


 
If you are using the same computer for Internet access and reprogramming, you may want to write the Call-In# on a piece of paper so that you can refer to it when you return to the Internet window. Do not cancel Case CATalyst's Reprogramming Security Device dialog box. To get back to your Internet window, use ALT + TAB or use your task-bar. Closing the dialog box will change your Call-in# and you will have to start over again.
 
4. On the Reprogram Web page, type your customer number in the customer number field. You will find your customer number on any Stenograph invoice.*
 
5. Type in the letters and numbers of your Call-In# inside the Call-In# field.
If you are using the same computer for Internet access as for Case CATalyst and need to refer back to Case CATalyst for your Call-In#, do not cancel Case CATalyst. Switch between CATalyst and your Internet window, using ALT + TAB or your task-bar. Closing the dialog box will change your Call-In# and you will have to start over again.
 
6.When you finish typing the Call-In#, click the submit button.

After following the steps above, an access number should be displayed. If you are using the same computer for Internet access and reprogramming, you may want to write down the access number on a piece of paper so that you can refer to it when you return to the Case CATalyst window.

If an error message is displayed, please recheck your customer number and Call-In # for errors. Retype the numbers if necessary. If you are still unsuccessful, call us Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central Time, for assistance at 800-323-4247 or +1-630-532-5100.


To complete the programming of your device, follow the steps below.

1. Maximize the Case CATalyst screen/Reprogramming the Device box.
Type your access number in the appropriate field.



Press Enter.
 
2. After successful reprogramming, the Manage Jobs screen displays.
 
3. There is something new and exciting regarding how you'll receive Case CATalyst version 13. You'll be notified via email and through our social media as the general release date draws closer.
