People have purchased the Pink Ribbon Diamante for so many unique reasons.
Following are some stories that Pink Ribbon Diamante owners have been kind enough to share with us:

Every deposition I attend, someone asks me about my pink machine. This gives me the opportunity to talk about the wonderful cause that Stenograph is supporting with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and to share my stories about my beloved sister who is a 5-year breast cancer survivor, and also to talk about my dear friend who is a 2-year breast cancer survivor.

I purchased this writer, after having already purchased the gray version just a month before, because I wanted to honor not only my family members who have been struck with breast cancer but all the other survivors and victims of this disease. I have the ribbon splash screen set up to remind me every day that anyone can succumb to this horrid disease and to remind myself to do monthly checks so I can be here for my husband and grandchildren and the rest of my family. Most importantly, I liked that part of the proceeds were going to go to the Breast Cancer Foundation to, one day, find a cure!

My mom passed away last December from breast cancer. Not that I need any reminder of her, but I feel she is close to me every step of the way. And, yes, it's pretty.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 17, 2007. By September of this year, I will have completed my third reconstructive surgery. We must never stop fighting and donating to the fight. Thank you, Stenograph, on behalf of all of us Pink Warriors, for your participation in the battle against breast cancer.
I would love to purchase a new paperless writer but we are still awaiting our Court's final determination on the issue.
Thank you for thinking of us

While the pink ribbon is for breast cancer, I am purchasing this wonderful machine in memory of my loving infant daughter, my 45-year-old-sister and my 65-year-old mother, all of whom I lost to cancer within a 21-month timespan. Although it was not breast cancer, it was still cancer, and since I don't believe they even have any other "programs" (for lack of a better word) set up for just cancer, I believe this is a good cause and, in purchasing the Diamante, I feel I am doing my humblest part in contributing to hopefully a cure some day. Thank you for the opportunity.
